Laura has been with Insight Wealth Partners since July 2019 where she served as the operations specialist for the past two and a half years. Most recently, she transitioned into her new role as a financial analyst while she works to become IWP's first female advisor!

Prior to joining Insight Wealth Partners in July 2019, Laura spent five and a half years as a full-time student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Within those five and a half years at Texas Tech, Laura received her Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Mass Communication, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor’s in journalism.

 

While completing her dual master’s degrees Laura was a part-time graduate assistant for a business and professional communications course for undergraduate students. After only one semester of instructing state required course objectives, she was promoted to Assistant Course Director, where she became an assistant to the head professor of practice, as well as, the first point of contact for student escalation issues.

 

During her time as an undergraduate student, Laura worked for Fox Sports Southwest as a segment producer and was a GoodDay Lubbock morning broadcast intern for the local Fox affiliate in Lubbock, Texas. Laura served in multiple leadership roles within a few of the many organizations she was involved in including Chapter President for her sorority, Director of Communications for Mortar Board, an honor society for the top 50 seniors at their respective universities for their scholarship, leadership, and service, and served as an ambassador to the Chancellor of Texas Tech Systems.

 

Laura has a wonderful family and enjoys spending time with them any way she can. Some of her hobbies include hanging out with friends, wake surfing, snow skiing, exercising, hunting, and cooking.
