About David
Prior to joining Insight Wealth Partners in 2010, David spent 19 years as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial with the last 13 years as a financial advisor with Middlebrook, Dryden, Carter & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise. During his time there, David maintained an exceptional level of client service and quality of advice, and managed the financial planning department that serviced over 800 clients.
David enjoys building relationships with clients to help them through their life’s journey. David focuses on working with clients to determine what is truly important in their lives and then developing and implementing solutions to help them reach their goals. David also enjoys working with clients to help them discover their unique abilities, clarify their personal vision and passions, and to help them explore the possibilities and opportunities available for them.
Prior to becoming a financial advisor, David spent 13 years in the loss prevention industry, first working as an engineer with Factory Mutual Research, then as a Loss Prevention Engineer with Factory Mutual Engineering and finally as an Account Engineer with Protection Mutual Insurance Company (now part of FM Global, a US based property insurance company specializing in Highly Protected Risk (HPR) property insurance and loss prevention services to large corporations throughout the world).
David graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester MA, in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. While at WPI, David was instrumental in the founding of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) WPI Student Chapter, one of the first SFPE student chapters in the nation. David successfully completed the Certified Financial Planner Professional Education Program from the College for Financial Planning in 1995.
David is single and enjoys photography, travel and following his favorite Boston professional sports teams.
